Well, my foot surgery was done on June 15th and I'm telling you it was MUCH worse than the previous two in terms of pain level. But I guess that's to be expected since this time there are broken bones involved.
Thursday we go in to get the stitches out and I get to go into a lovely, stylish ortho boot for the remaining 6 weeks of my crutch-life.
I sure hope this fixes the problem permanently and that rehab is speedy. I have dog shows that I want to go to in the fall!

About Me
I live on some rural acreage near a small town in central Illinois. I've been married for over 30 years and am still very much in love with my husband (not that he doesn't drive me crazy sometimes). I have one daughter who is married to a wonderful guy and they live in Indiana. They had their first child, Ellie Ferne, on November 3, 2011!
I come from a large family of four girls and two boys and we are scattered all over the midwest, but we still try to get together a few times a year. I lost my mother to breast cancer August 9, 1999 and my dad passed away five years later on May 24th, 2004. I lost my youngest brother on his 40th birthday in 2003 -- a loss that I still cannot completely accept.
I am an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and we get down to St. Louis at least once a year to see a live game. I raise and train my border collies for competition in obedience and herding while also dabbling in the conformation ring.
I am a self-employed dog groomer since 1993 and my husband is in the auto manufacturing industy. I am looking forward to retirement a few years down the road so that my husband and I can travel this gorgeous country of ours.
